Wasn't there a company that offered repairs for center console switch housings?
I remember when I first picked up my car someone asked me about repairing broken tabs on the center console switch housings. At the time, they weren't broken. Now 2 years later they are. I'd love to not spend $450 on a piece of plastic if I can avoid it, but the fact that the center console switch housings slide out as often as they do drives me nuts.
Anyone remember who it was that offered a repair solution for this problem? Or am I stuck just replacing both of the switch housings?

I have some broken tabs too. When I ordered my Pad Keeper a few months ago, David told me they were working on a solution for the center console tabs. He didn't give me an exact date but I think he said soon. This is his email and website: cmrdce@aol.com, www.thepadkeeper.com. Might be worth checking in with him!

I repaired mine.
I repurposed an old phone case for the job. After finding what the tabs should look like when whole, I trimmed them to the approximate shape and size then epoxied them in place. Attached the clips, and presto. I only fixed the spoiler switch panel since that helps hold in the tri-switch panel.

I have some broken tabs too. When I ordered my Pad Keeper a few months ago, David told me they were working on a solution for the center console tabs. Bingo! I think it was Dave when I ordered my pad keeper as well. Guess I'll keep my eyes open for that.

I used an old credit card, cut it and drilled it and dremled it and then used tiny screws to install it. Clipped right in and it is nice and solid. Hope I never have to remove it though.

Confirmed with David that he was working on a solution/repair kit for this, and it sounds like it should be out shortly.
