these cars are 25+ years old
they ALL HAVE ISSUES, even the very very nice one's.
if you think you can buy a top of the mkt car and be set, wrong. that believe, you should buy a brand new 991GT3
if you think you can buy a nice car may have some issue some deferred maintenance and work on it either piece meal or all at same time. then, old cars are good.
it took me a very long time to comprehend this... I am dumber than most of course.

^^Without question it is a labor of love when it comes to older cars. But they offer something you just don’t get from newer cars and it will never be replicated in anything modern.

There are different qualities of product and installation. One can for sure do it cheaper.

True. I’m having the windshield done soon. More UV protection than tint being the purpose. That alone is about $400 for stuff with the right installer.

My skin is very sensitive to the sun after all the years of wearing my stage makeup. Being in a rock band has its disadvantages.

No judgment getting it done. Just seems like a lot of money.

Windsheild films are pricey due to the clarity requirements. I had clearplex installed on my Spyder a few years ago and it cost $380. I’ve since had two large rocks hit the windsheild and not a scratch on the glass so it was money well spent but yes not cheap.
