Default Upgrading to 993 MC (Shopping List)

A year and half into my 964 project and the car is finally ready, but the M/C is busted. Tried sourcing another one from ebay but it seems that one is busted as well. I think I have no choice but to upgrade to a 993 setup. Since I'm based abroad, I'd like to get my shopping list completed and not miss out any items. After some research, I have the below part numbers:

993 MC 993.355.910.00993 vac can 993.355.023.10
gasket 993.355.301.00
bracket 993.355.163.03

I'm missing the adapters or lines - can someone point me to the specific parts that I should get? Are these the right ones?=center
99335528501
99335528301

Can I keep the original calipers with this setup or should I upgrade? Do I need to upgrade both front and back?

the 993 vacuum booster and 23.8mm m/c is a straight forward t/p
you need
993 355 910 00 m/c
993 355 023 10 vac can
993 355 301 00 gasket
993 355 163 03 m/c support
the hardest part is bridging the 12mm 993 fittings w/ the 10mm 964 lines
one way is to use Fedhill M6-3 - 12mm x 1.0 male steel nut with non-threaded lead - SAE flare or DIN flare
another is to have new lines fabricated 12mm on the m/c side 10mm on the chassis side
another is a BMW adaptor 34-32-6-752-405

Thanks for the input! In case anyone is interested, I will update this thread as I keep getting my parts. I have gone the BMW line route and placed an order for all the parts above, plus the FVD front big reds.

Received the bracket and gasket from design911.com

My build thread has details and pics on this.

Funny thing on those BMW brake lines. I forget where i found the link here on them. What a random find, not sure how the original poster figure that out.
So I live in the LA metro, BMW dealers here are like Toyota dealers, Everywhere. I call a bunch close to me, nobody has these buy they point me to a dealer in downtown LA that has been there for i don't know, 30-40 years?
They had 2 pair on the shelf, I bought all they had, gave the other pair to a friend.
The parts guy was amazed, they had been on the shelf for near 20 years :-)

Wow, thats great luck! I found a couple on Ebay.. seller is somewhere in East Europe.. they should be on the way..

How much bending and coercing did the lines need to fit?

Its not bad. These simply route from the master cylinder to the body where the lines pass through to the trunk. Somewhere in my build thread you can see pictures of the lines and how they route.

Just use a tubing bender and match the old line patterns when you remove them.

WORST case, if you need to, it's not hard to make the lines with the proper flare tools.

https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6515-Degree-Tubing-Bender/dp/B000F5HV0W/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548009775&sr=8-4&keywords=brake+tube+bender https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6515-Degree-Tubing-Bender/dp/B000F5HV0W/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548009775&sr=8-4&keywords=brake+tube+bender

Remember, with brake fittings, spray a little Kroil, PB Blaster or whatever you have equivalent in Bahrain let it soak in a bit, then a quick motion with a flare wrench. Don't use a regular combo wrench on brake lines.

ECS has them for $20. That’s where I got mine.

I bought mine mc/booster from a Porsche dealer assuming factory parts are of higher quality. Didn't want to mess around when it comes down to safety. Can someone confirm that that's in fact the case?

Bumping this thread hoping someone can answer this question for me:

993 MC came with four ports for lines, the 964 C2 only has 2. For the two I won't be using, is it OK to leave the plugs that came in them to block the off, or should I removed and put lock tite, or replace with another plug? Is the blue dot on the plug a hint (blue loc tite already used?)

Thanks!
