question on 965 front bumpers

Hey guys - question. I ordered bumper cover part number 965-505-113-01-G2X and received part number 965-505-113-02-GRU which is listed as a bumper liner. It looks correct to me except I was hoping for no headlight washer holes. Just want to make sure I got right right stuff ;)Thanks!

Headlight washers were standard on the turbos. I am not sure but most every wide body 964 I have seen had washer nozzles other than the 3.8RS's. I had mine filled. G2X shows as an invalid part but ouch $1800 for a GRU bumper cover. I am glad I have a spare.

Thanks - I was kinda putting that together. Will definitely have it filled.

Paid $11xx during a Black Friday sale - so not quite as painful. Going widebody with all oem stuff...as much as I can anyway.

Yeah the price for these is ridiculous hence I watched ebay for years and eventually got lucky and grabbed one for around $250.

That's nothing. I believe in doing things right...and I have a peeve against nasty old wheel liners, so I bought all new 965 stuff for the front. 4 pieces of plastic = $1300.

Converting to WB the right way...isn't cheap. On the plus side, I'll be selling the NB fenders :)

I think I have one without the holes. I think maybe the Euro cars we an option??

PO told me he had the washers drilled when he converted to WB using an OEM bumper, although it is just for looks since he did not connect them. It was a used bumper so it seems they were available without the washers, not sure about new ones.
