Hi, I was going to wait till Christmas week but started early. This is about as close as I will ever get to owning a GT3RS. (Lego Technic 42056).

Merry Christmas from Richmond, BC, Canada

Ha! I think my buddy said his took something like 35-45 hours to complete. Mine has been sitting in the box collecting dust. Never seems to be enough free time to build it.

Hi, I was going to do a build thread to mirror Rob's Suspension Madness but after a few bricks were attached together I gave up. I spent at least 45 hours on the assembly including several more hours to take a major part apart because I used a wrong gear in the shifter mechanism (one of the first sub assemblies). My biggest criticism of the model is that they don't identify the sub assemblies. You follow directions to put this piece here and this piece there and when you are done it is the seat. It would have been a simple task to start off with "this will build the seat" then proceed with the instructions. It is a large model and now to find a place to display.

Merry Christmas
