Spark Plug No. 6 Trouble
 

I was almost done with everything: engine lid struts, front hood struts, rear spoiler wall, new window switch, fuel, air, oil filter, oil change, caps, rotors, and plugs. Even going from the bottom, plug no. 6 is difficult. so......It was getting late,10:30 PM, and I dropped the plug back into the bottomless pit. First time for everything...
My question: Before I mess with this tomorrow, it is possible to get the plug lodged in the plug opening? I can feel the top of the plug, but it isn't moving freely, and of course, you cannot see anything on the no.6 plug. I am going to see if a flexible magnet tool will get it back out.
Anybody have any suggestions or have the unfortunate luck to do this?
I am just trying to not make a bad situation worse, i.e., jamming the plug into the opening trying to retrieve it, dropping pieces of spark plug into the combustion chamber, screaming loud enough the neighbors think there is an emergency, to name a few...

Just take your time and fiddle on. It can't go any where. Suddenly it will come loose.

Magnetic plug socket?

This (and extending magnet) has got me out of very similar lost nuts/bolts situations in the engine area..

I believe I got the plug in correctly. I can't even tell with a mirror and flashlight. I don't remember having problems with this plug last time. How will I know?........

Count the number of rotations vs threads it will tell you and you should feel it seat. If you get in a bind they sell inexpensive borescopes with lights that you can use on your phone.
