How much of the inner door panel needs to removed to replace the “rectangular” ribbed interior door pull? I’ve seen this described as a quick fix AND as quite an ordeal. Haven’t found a clear visual tutorial anywhere, however. PO replaced the OEM pulls at some point with some shiny versions with a
Porsche logo on them...

It can be done in the car. You’d need to remove the storage pockets first, then remove the retaining clip (on top) to slide the pin down and remove the handle. Alternatively it may be easier to pull the door panel and handle it in the garage. :)
