Default Continental radio question

Just installed my Conti radio.
Turn on ignition, I get illumination but unit does not power up.
I have 12v to pin A7 and switched power to A4.
What am i missing?

Thanks,
Rob

What happens if you hit the radio button as if manually turning the power on?

Nothing...
I'll call ECS Tuning tomorow or Monday. I'm thinking it may be defective?

Certainly if it's wired correctly - multimeter shows 12v across A7 and A8 and A4 to A8 behaves properly with ignition key?
