AC rebuild with R134 conversion - O-ring lube?

I am assembling the AC lines in the red car, with all new green o-rings for the 134 conversion. The lines have all been refurbished.
What is the reommended lubrication for the o-rings?

I've not opened my 964's lines, but on my Mercedes W124 (factory R134a) I used PAG oil on the seals.

Also what you will use depends on if the compressor, lines, evaporator/condenser are clean and there's no residual mineral oil from the R12 fill. If that's the case then PAG wouldn't be the right choice (consider ester).

You can get Nylog Blue from Amazon.

Yes, but Amazon won't ship to Switzerland….

you sure about that? I looked on the app and it says 13$ to ship to Switzerland. Amazon isn’t selling it, a third party is selling it on Amazon.

Trust me on that one. This is what I get on Amazon when I select this product:
No sellers are currently delivering this item to Switzerland

This is getting ridiculous:
Amazon doesn't have anyone who ships to Switzerland.
Manufacturer sends me to European importer, in Belgium,
European Importer sends me to Swiss importer, in … Switzerland.
Swiss Importer does not answer.

Where have the customer oriented companies gone?
I swear, I am going to lube these with spit.

can you use a browser extension to make it look like your computer is in the USA? I’ve done that to get different movies on Netflix and buy Scuba regulators from Europe where they dont have fixed manufacturer pricing.

GeorgeK 11-20-2018 03:08 PM

OK, Let's say I do that. And then, what do I give as shipping address?

You put in your Swiss address. Computer thinks your ordering it in the USA and shipping to Switzerland. I bought some Bosch parts off amazon.de for cheaper than I could get them in the states and it worked.
