SOLVED! - 964 front hub/disc mounting hole radius dimension
Beyond 964/993 front hubs, looking to confirm what other models of Porsche uses the same hub/disc bolt mounting hole radius? (Note there are two hub mounting holes on the face of each brake disc where a small "fixing" screw secures the disc to the hub underneath.) UPDATE - I have it on good authority that all 996 and beyond Porsches went to a different radius dimension for the mounting holes VS 964/993 so they can't be used for reference. So that means I need someone who knows with absolute precision/certainty what the disc mounting hole centerline radius dimension is for the 964 hubs. Got a project going for some fancy two piece rotors but it's stalled because the reference dimension was wrongly grabbed from another Porsche rotor/hub combo.
Thanks in advance! |

I’m not exactly sure what dimension you’re after, but the ATE catalog gives most of the dimensions. Look up ATE part number 428174. 996 and later models also use wheel bolts instead of studs, which I would avoid on principle. |
Hey, that nails it!
-Nick, thanks very much! Found the reference in the ATE catalog as you mentioned and it provided exactly the dimension measurement we needed. Their diagram shows a dimension of an overall diameter of 136mm which means a radius of 68mm to the centerline of the fixing screw hole. By way of additional info, I've attached a screen shot from the ATS catalog that shows the dimension in question.
Once again the rennlist community comes to the rescue! Thanks so much! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...633a9623e4.png |
