Both are great options. From a custom wheel standpoint, Rotiform has numerous fitments under their belt for 964's. I'm sure they can advise you based on what you're looking to accomplish.

Thanks all! I'm still doing my research when it comes to this car's fitment. I have the 17x8 and 17x9 RUF Speedlines with 15mm spacers and am looking to get a new set of wheels possibly the standard BBS RS or Rotiform wheels.
BBS and Rotiform are both great options. May I also suggest CCW.

Flattened oil line, slammed ride height, rolled fenders, bits in the front clearanced, aggressive track setup/cambers/toe.
I agree. I wish I downloaded the document Frank (Black Betty) had on the website a while back. It was a good read on fitment for the 964's it seems 18x8.5 and 18x10 is the sweet spot.
I was reading on the flattening of the oil line bit. Personally, I'm not sure I would be comfortable doing that as my car would see some track time. I'm more geared towards a 50/50 mix of stylish and purposeful.

What is your setup with those CCWs? They look great!
8x18 ET50 and 10x18 ET47. To make the most of 8 and 10 inch wide wheels and not cause rubbing, it was recommend I use 225 and 265 tires respectively. Running Toyo Proxes R1Rs
My camber is pretty agressive up front. I dont recall the amout. Stock in the rear.
I'm still using the coil overs from Godspeed. After a couple years and a few track days, I want to change them out. KW's next maybe.
My oil line isn't flattened but my fender lips are. Obviously mine isn't set up for tracking but I do drive it to California once a year, lol.
LOL..that's part of my goal too is drive it to California to hopefully attend a Luft event some day. Bet it took a while to roll the fenders. It's like a sliver of metal.

I never thought about that, I see so many track cars with flattened oil lines (Spyrex's included.) Is there any evidence of it causing an issue?

It would be an assumption on my part so I’m not sure. I just read flattening lines, etc etc, I’m thinkng that can’t be good. But I’m open to be put at ease if people like Spyrex track and don’t have any issues.
The cup cars had a flattened line. It’s fine. Wheel doesn’t hit it. The tire will. In heavy loads the tires deflect and will rub on the line. The can move a lot in high load corners.

Cool. Thank you for that confirmation. What is the best way to flatten the line? My car is in for a rebuild at the moment so i'm thinking "while you're in there..."
