There is a set for sale http://www.germansportscars.net/en/p...nal-speedline/ My understanding is they want crazy money for them. I have no doubt yours are equally as nice if not nicer. It seems like yesterday when Jim started doing these. I know a lot of wheel shops that will do nice work cheap but Jim is the only person I would trust my speedlines with.
Great book. Amazing how many were painted speed yellow. I still want the one cobalt blue one if only I could afford it.
I have a set of E88's coming in all black for track use as well as a set of silver fikse's I use. For street the speedlines are my choice. Car looks so correct. IMO the WB with NB rear trailing arms is the ultimate 964 setup.

Speed gelb and white are definitely the best sellers, i am thinking of anodizing a set of bbs in grey with grey centers, will have to photoshop to see how it looks like.
I did follow your thread, it was a great inspiration

Wow, that is stunning. I'd have a really hard time choosing between the BBS and the Speedlines. Probably just swap them out every couple days for best results.

then you have to calculate a decent amount to refurbish them
i imagine well the internal conflict you had.

The last like new condition set I saw in 9 & 11 vs the 9 1/2 & 11 sold for over $20k a few years ago. $15k needing refurbishment sounds about right.
There can't be too many original sets floating around anymore.
BTW I noticed that in the RS book they mention the RSR's received 9 1/2 & 11.5" wheels. I have never seen 11.5 on any RSR and my set appears to be matched with the same markings on the inside. This set for sale is also 9 1/2 & 11 so I am assuming that is a typo?

i just checked in the german rs book and it says the same , 11.5 on rsr’s to allow 305 tires, strange as all homologation speaks about 11inches... to be double checked

I know I have a matched set from an RSR purchased from the original owner. All dated 11-93. Are 9 1/2 & 11. They also had the rings added for the center locking hubs. I since removed them and use the center caps but are easily added.

my holy grail!
my only guess that porschr]e might have offered an upgrade to allow the wider tires (easy with 3 part wheels) or were those than the bbs for the le mans rsr ( and no speedlines)?
i also saw at the historics in laguna in august a modified rsr with wider front track, never seen before a widened fender like that, was told it was origially delivered like that,i was left in serious doubts...

^^^ you never know but doesn't look like any added on flairs from the factory I have seen. The early RSR's and GT2 Evo's looked much cleaner install than those.
I would expect more info about this in the book but I haven't made it all the way through yet.
The added front width would definitely change handling. I am pushing mine out as far as I can with 993 front components.
