Default New to Rennlist! Miami enthusiast

Hi there - I am new to Renntech. I bought a 964 manual cabrio linen grey with 105k miles on it last April. I love this car. The way it looks and the handling...amazing!

I’ve done a few things to it maintenance wise like changing oil, oil filter,, air filter and cabin filter. I would like though to learn more so that I can do more preventive maintance myself. I live in Miami area so I would love to meet other enthusiasts in the area willing to spend some time sharing our passion and willing to help out others working on their cars. I am planning on doing spark plugs, transmission oil, V belt , brake fluid, etc... Let me know if there is someone around interested!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. Lots of nice Porsches and knowledgeable people running around South Florida. Your general maintenance list sounds like a good start. You might want to think about doing the valve adjustment and new valve cover gaskets when you do the spark plugs, especially if you don't know when it was previously done.

Post up some pictures of your car when you get a chance.

Thanks MTR for your warm welcome and your tips! A few pics so that you know my car. So far I am amazed how well built these cars are. Loving the overall experience and the drives with this car! This was a dream of mine since at least 10 years ago...again give me a shout if someone is around and wants to share a ride, down stories or even work on our cars. I am learning and I am really enjoying the experience !

Welcome Sucram

A three man Miami crew just came up to North Carolina this past weekend to do #TargaCarolina. Super good guys, and a lot of fun to hang with.
Be on the lookout for the three cars on the right.
