964 from Germany

Hallo guys,

my name is Fabio,I am 26 years old and living in Germany. I am absolutely passionate about cars, especially air cooled. My other ride is a 71 VW T2a Bay window.

The 964 is imported from Canada. It has not the best paintjob but it is in a great technical condition. It just got a freshly done engine revision. I already planned some changes, which I will post here from time to time to keep you guys up to date. Maybe my project will be interesting for some of you.

By by the way, sorry for my English. I hope there won’t be too many mistakes.

Hi, thanks. Currently the car is on (boring) stock wheels. They will be changed and replaced by BBS Le Mans. 8,5x18 & 10x18. In addition I will replace the seats with Recaro Pole Position. New suspension - KW V3, some interiour changes - carbon fibre. Momo steering wheel and some other nice stuff...

Welcome! Can't wait to see it once the upgrades are done. That will totally change the look and feel of the car. Good news on the recent engine rebuild, many happy miles ahead!

I just replaced the stock steering against a nice Momo Mod 07. . Really easy to change. Great feeling and I just think this steering wheel was made for a 964. It fits awesome with the interiour.
Maybe I will be able to install the recaro seats this weekend too. By the way, I have got a great solution for a proper seat position. The stock Recaro consoles are way to high for a 964. Got some custom made ones. I am pretty sure they will provide a nice fit.

I am also partial to guards red Porsches, not so many anymore and as we all know red is faster LOL.

Great intro. Looking forward to seeing the progress! Mod 07 is a great start, and perfect for taller drivers that need a little more knee room.

And the VW bus is just awesome!!

just build up the Recaro rails with the custom consoles. Fits great. Removed the old seat and replaced it with the Recaro. Now it looks much more like a track car!
