Good luck with the sale. I totally agree with you on the 10% thing. I beleive there is a buyer for everything.

Agree. The key is to find 2 of them willing to bid against each other.

Nice car.

Exactly, you only need one buyer. We put grey maple floors in our old house and our real estate agent who was an older lady came in and gasped in horror when she saw them. "Oh my... this is going to limit your market a lot, people in Georgia like traditional color oak flooring". Told her "we're not trying to sell this house to *everyone*".
A couple in their mid 30s came to see the house on the second day it was listed; they made a full-ask offer that same day. At that closing table the wife said: "I just fell in love with the floors when we walked in and had to have the house". Wish the agent would have been there to hear that, but I made sure to tell her. ;-)

Thanks Tony,
Can't decide what's better this story OR the list of GT's in your signature, LMAO

Just my .02 worth. You should have fixed the damaged front smile and the misaligned rocker fins. These things would make me think even at raised height the car is bottoming out someplace. Although you put a ton of work into it and built this car to your tastes and you are looking for that 10% of people who get you, why limit the sale and show the car as it would sit at a regular height. It might get someone to bid if not help bid it up and they might decide to replace the suspension and sell it off. Who cares what the next owner does with it if you get your price.

I had a metal plate installed behind the grill to fix the front smile. I just realized the rocker panel piece. I am on it.

I love this car and color! I hope you get your asking price...But then again I hope you don't b/c i hate seeing 964's leave the owner that loved and cared for them. Keep it forever! haha

Question where exactly is the metal plate installed for the smile. That's a good idea.

Metal plate was installed vertical behind the grills forcing the bottom to stay flat. It might have popped off.

I suspect this one will be a Reserve Not Met.

Don't mind the car/look, but its going to take a very, very specific type of buyer. I feel this is one of those you could spend a few bux and make a bit more mass market and get more $ in the end.

ill be watching this closely. I flirted with moving mine on BAT, but felt their reserve was far too low. I know it doesn't look good for them to not sell cars, but still.. best of luck with the sale, I imagine you'll do just fine. plenty of people would be into a bagged 964. id be interested to drive one just to see what its like.

Funny I am part of the 10%er group again. That thing is badass. I’d be all over that if I was in the market. Great taste. GLWS.

Now that Auction is getting closer I am sooooo glad it's not getting close to my Reserve. I don't want to let it go anymore, it's like I am falling in love with this build all over again. Time to build new wheel's...

Not sure what your reserve is but $70k seemed a bit optimistic.

You can find a decent 964 for around $50k, add an Airlift kit for $4k and some wheels for another $3k and you're at $57k

The partial respray in a subjective color takes away value.

That being said, there's a shoe for every foot, good luck!
