well, looking at the pace things are going, i'm starting to doubt if your mechanic was really keen on selling this 964 for that price. One reason for stalling could be that he has other offers on the table, and he is just willing to sell it to the highest bidder.

Yes, nothing there. All seem to be good. A very reputable shop was doing the work, so I'm not worried too much. What i've seen from outside, inside the wheel arch and inside the engine bay looks to be good and original. Seems like there was no damage to the tub.
