964 RS battery isolator retro fit
I’m fitting an RS style battery isolator in my frunk. I cut both of the positive cables to fit connectors and found one of the cables is shielded and has 3 separate insulated wires running within it.
Does anyone know how to connect these up to a single connector on an isolator, and is it ok to do so? Better still, can anyone explain the reason why Porsche did this?
My guess is the shielding is for noise/interference suppression, but that’s all I can think of.
