For those of us that have dry engines, it's worth keeping oil dribbles off the heat exchangers. Order in.

Wish I knew about this before my oil change! Especially since I forgot to stab a hole in my filter.. almost a full bag of rags to clean it up! I'll get one for next time!

I have four on order (dilutes the cost of shipping each one). Steve's taking one. When they arrive in NZ, I'll PM you.

That’s legit! Wish I had that when I did mine earlier in the year. Will definitely be ordering before my next oil change.

I must be a cheapskate. I wrap mine in a carrier bag before I unscrew it.

I added this onto a Pelican order and it's been sitting in the box for a bit waiting on the next oil change. I found it didn't fit, and I'm fairly certain it wasn't user error. It didn't seem to fit low enough for my filter. Has anyone else attempted to use the tray?

Same here, I wrap a plastic shopping bag or a ziploc bag around it and then unscrew. The filter drops in the bag and I have minimal to no mess.

I have the same problem with my car. The wire harness interferes so you can't slide the tray under the filter.

Sorry, I should have updated this. Rennline state it's for the earlier cars I.e. pre 964. There is no way it can be made to fit a 964.

That's a bummer, but is consistent with my experience. Back to the old way.
