964 transmission mount recommendations please
I am looking at purchasing a transmission mount for my 964 c4. I am looking at the FD Motorsports AWD Transmission mount and the sport 85 Shore transmission bushing. I contacted FD they said there mount is very good which I believe because they make very quality components. I am concerned about it being a solid mount that it will create way to much vibration. I have heard that the 85 shore is even to much for some people. Anyone have any experience with the FD Motorsports mount that can chime in and let me know your experience would be great.

I've used a solid transmission mount coupled with a light weight flywheel in a 964 C2 with the sound deadening removed.
IT WAS AWFUL!
Have since revert back to a factory mount with a dual mass flywheel.

FWIW...Function First only offer the C4 insert in their hardest 80A shore version because "The 964/993 AWD Inserts are only available in the TRACK hardness level, as there is no perceivable added NVH with this setup."
I've gone with the FVD 85A Sport spec mount for my C4 to go with the the WEVO black motor mounts.

I used the FVD sport spec C4 trans mount. Coupled with RS motor mounts, shifts are very accurate. Vibration?? It may be a matter of taste, but my car is loud and all sound deadening has been stripped out and no carpet. Oh yeah, no cat or secondary muffler too. So yeah, loud and raw.
