Default Plug-and-play headlight upgrade

Is there a simple plug and play bulb upgrade for the 964? Something that puts out a bit more light than the current headlights on my 89 C4 (US)? I’ve seen the high dollar replacement units, but was hoping for something a bit simpler. Thanks.

Not for the stock H5 housing. You'll need to either change to an H4 housing from the g-series or one of the many led kits. Lots of discussion threads on the options.

I ordered H5 led bulbs for mine, just on ebay. Haven't got them yet but I can't see why it won't just plug in and work. I'll find the link and send to you.

I contemplated getting other bulbs for my H5s and after doing my research, I decided to buy an H4 kit. Was on the fence about the Singer style headlights that are available out there because of the looks/price and then realized I loved the way the H4s look. Will stick with the stock bulbs for a bit and will probably end up adding relays to run higher wattage bulbs in the H4s.

H1's with dual bulbs not only look better than H4's but allow you to adjust the high and low beams independently.

I loved my H1's on my early 911. They are $$$. Not sure I've seen on a 964.

They aren't as expensive as they used to be now that The LED and HID headlights are available. I don't drive as much at night as used to but Still best looking light they used on these IMO.

I have a practically new in box set I'm asking $1500 obo for if anyone is interested.

My 93 C2 with H1's
