Default I bought the cheapest 964 around...and wow

This thing needs some work! It's what I was looking for, though. Something I can make my own and is already pretty jacked up so I don't need to worry about messing with an original car or a car that could otherwise be returned to original...this car is FAR beyond that. I'll tell more about the story in the coming days but for now, here are some pics - you might recognize this as the car with the shower drains in the wheel liners.

It actually drives OK. Drove to cars and coffee this AM, just as it was when it came off the transport last week - bird poop and all! Engine feels strong but I don't want to lean on it too much before having it properly checked out by my local shop.
Bonuses - Turbo brakes...Fabspeed exhaust. Negatives - Automatic trans... Going to be looking for a manual.

Please save that 964 from the horrors bestowed upon it by the previous owner.

That's the plan. Sadly, this was the same car years back..

PS - ignore the mention of C4.... It's a tip - you can see the shifter in the video if you look close.

I don't know how long the project will take. Depending on how much I decide to tackle on my own, it could be a big money job...and I'm not really a big money kind of guy, lol.

Wow.. I guess the real question is how expensive will the cheapest 964 end up being.
This will be a fun one to watch as anything you do will be a major improvement

What's with the shower drains?? Meant to be brake coolers or .. ? I couldn't tell what was in place of the fog lights, doesn't look like the normal oval RS style intakes.

The bones are there! Time to make it your own!

FYI I'll have a spare bumper for sale in a couple months (small repairs needed), as well as OE foglights, sideskirts, aftermarket fibreglass RS style wing, etc. Haven't bothered to post them yet but PM me if you are interested !

Oh man I know the owner I think he is from Vegas. I saw the car few months ago and according to him, he put lots of money into it. It was way over my budget to bring it back. The motor seems to be OK but the rest, oh boy!
