Lol - I wish. You probably saw the other Cobalt car that someone posted - suggesting that I "SHOULD" do my car like that. Mine still looks horrible

I planned on a complete teardown, bodywork and then start the engine build. I've also been picking up some other odds and ends (OE turbo fenders, all wheels liners, braces...2 G50 transaxles (anyone want to buy a transaxle?) I'll have a bunch of questions - so brace yourselves

That is the plan. What else is a guy to do when he buys an untastefully modified C2 with a tip?

That will be an awesome project, I look forward to watching the progress.

Are you doing the engine rebuild or will you sub it out?

I’m anticipating doing the work. I’ve built engines before. I know there are different ‘gotchas’ with these and I know enough to ask when I don’t know :P. I have about every micrometer/caliper.gauge you can imagine... Between the helpful people here, the internets and a few books - I feel pretty good about it.

Suspension is toast. There isn’t a nut/bolt that will be left alone

That’s definitely happening. Anyone have a link to RSR spec seam welding?
