WTB: 964 TIP
Looking to purchase a 964 C2 Tip Coupe. Silver is my #1 Choice, but I'm open to other colors.
Top condition preferred. Low mileage only. Let me know what you have!
Greatly appreciated.

It's a 90 - but it's the most incredible tip I've seen.

No affiliation... there is one in Arkansas
I have no affiliation and I think I drive the only 964 in about an 70 mile radius so I notice one when I see one. I saw one at a local used car dealer and I stopped by. He says it is a 1994. It is a Tip, 61,000 miles. Had several service stamps in the owners handbook as it should have. Pretty clean, but has had some paint work according to the dealer. I did not start it. He says it leaks.. but it had been parked for 4 days and I could not see where it dripped. He thought is was an RS America because that is what his app showed him. I found the drivers manual laying in the back seat and flipped through it. It was originally a Florida car from Champion Porsche. White with Cashmere interior. I asked him for a copy of the build sheet with the copy of the underhood sticker. He obliged. I copied it and posted it here for you. Best of luck.. $39,000 in Arkansas.. nearest dealer is in Tulsa or Memphis.

I really appreciate the info. Thanks very much for posting this.
Sounds like a nice car & price!!
What I'm looking for though is a real low mileage car with no paint work.

What is your definition of low mileage? less than 100k? 60k? 30k?

I am under 100k in my tip and on the fence about selling. I just don't drive the car that much anymore and need to get my C4 back together. Its hard to walk away from a car that you put so much of your heart and soul into. It was my first 964 engine drop for crying out loud.

My C2 Tip is at 90k miles so that doesn't meet your mileage requirements and my car is a super well sorted driver. It seems you are looking for a low mileage garage queen collector type example. Nothing wrong with that but that's not my C2.

I guess we can call what I'm looking for a garage queen. But not a collector type car. We are talking about a Tip here.
The reality is that any Tiptronic car will never be a collector item or a highly desired car on the open market. The majority of Porsche owners and enthusiasts can chime in here.....
Your a Tip owner, so you know the stigma with these cars.
