Default aircon lines in the engine bay

How do you get the aircon lines out in the engine bay ? those on the compressor are no problem , but where are the end of the lines attached ? can you get at it from the
engine bay ?

Hi rarebear, from memory you have to remove the drivers side rear wheel and then remove the plastic cover under the guard. There are unions there which you can undo.

the rubber lines turn to hard lines and they are through the left rear fender then make their way up to front of car.

this is what the lines look like

All correct. Just did this. You need to remove the blower motor too. It will all come out at that point.

Thanks guys ! you are just unbelievable helpful !
some days ago one of the rubber lines just
blew up.. I heard a loud POP and blue smoke in the rear mirror...scared the heck out of me !
my 964 C2 is one of the oldest alive
(oct -989) with 294k on the odo, those rubber
lines must have become like wood after so many years.

Wow! I think the Griffiths lines are really nice if you are replacing. I have their fuel lines for the g series cars and the construction is much better than OEM.
