1.) There are RSA CFK wings out there with only ~5kg weight over all...
OEM wing assembly is roughly ~8 to 10kg plus the decklid.

2.) i did this change last year in my convertible. Roughly 3kg loss

My factory RSA wing and lid weighs 6 pounds more than the factory motorized lid removed.

If you do a search for SC RSA wing for sale on this forum , you will come across an old advert (wing was sold long time) .
You will see pictures of the wing and deck lid on a scale,
the whole lot made in carbon inc grill weights 4,5 kg,
made by Getty design in US ,
acording to few people here weighted the originale deck lid and retractable wing it weights 10,5 kg,

^^ does Getty offer a CF lid to mount the RSA style wing to? I thought you had to mount these to an RSA style lid. The bulk of the RSA wing weight is the heavy rubber lip.

yep - i know going fiberglass is really good for weight savings but usually the fit n finish is a real problem

not so much an issue for a track car... but for a combo car where aesthetics matter i hesitate to go FG

I have a Getty FG 3.8 RS bi wing tail with CF blade. The CF weave isn't as nice as the one you posted which looks quite good in comparison. The lid fit was not great and I had to spend a lot of time to fix and modify it to get it to fit properly. I was going to use their CF fenders but went steel because it was a lot less work to get them right.
