O2 car looks straight to me. Why don’t you go by here. 911 design in Montclair, CA. http://nine11design.com/?network=g&i...YaAvxmEALw_wcB and have them quote you. I’ve got a couple of friends that are very happy with their paint work. I’ve personally have not had either of my cars painted yet but have toured their shop and they had 3 or 4 total ground up builds and they looked flawless. They are a full service shop as you will see by their website.

In other words. They don’t want the business.
Agreed, that's what it struck me as too.

That's what guys are paying for 356 and 901 paint jobs these days. There's a 914 for sale for $370k claiming an $80k paint job. I'm not joking. Don't go to a 356 concours winning painter to do a 964, IMO. I agree you should talk to Scott at 911Design.

Oh don't get me wrong, I GET IT for cars like that, highly collectible, etc. Not a 964!

so I dropped off the car to Loren yesterday...4mos or less and $30k. Media blast exterior, glass out, no frunk , no engine compartment but they are fine. Slate grey 615 and 4 coats of clear. Doing a spray out for me to approve next week . Hopefully they do an excellent job !!
thanks

That's great. Good luck with it and will be excited to hear how it comes out and a picture or two. I will probably see your car as I need to take mine out there for service in the next month or 2.

Is this how much a quality paint job costs these days in SoCal? A couple years back, I was quoted half that amount from a reputable shop in LA. At that price does it make sense to send out of state where prices most likely are lower?
