I have the same pleated light gray interior. It's a terrific color combination with the red. Congratulations. Not cheap I'm sure but they're only in this original condition once.

Thank you for the kind notes fellas ! as a lot of you know,,, I searched very LONG and very HARD,,, I must say that I learned so much along the way, particularly after I joined rennlist,,,, this car is in superb condition with very good service and maintenance history,,, the Porsche specialist who did my PPI said it’s a “super clean, well cared for , unmolested example”. Still working on the shipping tho ! Ply car quoted me $2,600 ! Road runner quoted $1,800,,,, I have waited so long, and paid so much for this car, I want to use the right shipping service,,,as for my plans,,,, I very much doubt that I’ll do any mods,,,, I just wanna wash it, dust it off,,, look at it,,, and drive it 2-3 times per month,,,,I really want to keep it original,,,so in another decade or so,,, it will remain in original condition.... but we’ll see. Can’t wait to put my hands on her and take her for a cruise on PCH !!!!

Looking forward to seeing more pics when you get it!
Give Intercity a call also, they are excellent for transporting cars and I’ve never had an issue in the 4 times I have used them.
As far as not modifying the car, I had the same thought but that changed quickly after a few drives. Updating the suspension has a significant impact on the ride quality and the handling of the car. It’s worth considering and I don’t think it will have any impact on value over time, just keep the old parts.
