terrific stuff - thanks for your thought and contribution

l think the one thing that is hardest to take into account is the condition of the car (and for instance, whether it needs an engine reseal or other major maintenance/rehab).

Lets try these:

1991 C2 Coupe
Stick
54k miles
2017

1990 C2 Coupe
Stick
152K
2017

1990 C4 Coupe
Stick
83k
2018

Thanks. That's about what I was getting, but I thought I was doing something wrong. For the record, the transaction was around $17,000 (also to note the prior owner did over $10,000 in work in the three years prior to selling).

The model predicts the following purchase prices:
Car 1 - $53,790
Car 2 - $41,505
Car 3 - $51,602

I completely agree about the subjective condition of the car and didn't even attempt that.

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. BTW - you need to stop looking at certain websites so often!

yes your model is very good indeed

all pretty accurate and the variances from actuals can certainly be explained by the maintenance/overhaul needs of each car (or lack thereof!) which entirely fits with common sense to be a major factor in determining the fair purchase price of these old cars ... excellent work!!!

You're about 10% high. I guess I should be happy with that outcome.

This is fascinating work you've done. How about this one? I'd also appreciate an estimate of it's current worth as I get ready to put her up for sale.

1991 C2 Cab midnight blue/ivory in very good condition
manual transmission
55,000 miles (79,500 now)
purchased March 2010

Thanks in advance!
