Maybe the Porsche Experience Center P lot as its shape looks similar to the map shown on the Luft 5 website ? Should be a prize for the first one to guess the right location.

huh. That map looks identical so its hard to argue. And they are closed on Sundays. At first glance not an exciting location, but I am sure the creatives behind the show can make it nice.

FINALLY! LUFTGEKÜHLT 5 VENUE ANNOUNCED
3/23/20181:37 ESTFILED TO: PORSCHE CAR SHOWSBY: PEPPER GIRL2 COMMENTS
First we were given the date, then we learned what city Luft 5 would be held in. Today, we finally know where in Torrance, CA all those wonderful air-cooled Porsches will assemble, Ganahl Lumber South Bay.
Sunday April 22 - 2018 - 9 AM - 3 PM - Ganahl Lumber - 2600 DEl Amo Blvd - Torrance - CA - 90503
LOCATION HOLDS RELEVANCE TO PORSCHE HISTORY BUFFS
Recently opened at 2600 Del Amo Blvd in Torrance, CA, the site of Luftgekühlt 5 is a 16+ acre facility owned by California's oldest lumber company, Ganahl Lumber. Opened in 1884 by Austrian immigrants Christian and Frank Ganahl, this year's Luftgekühlt venue holds special relevance for for Porsche history buffs. Back in 1944 Porsche moved manufacturing from Stuttgart to a series of wooden sheds at the site of a former saw mill in Gmünd Austria. It was at that location in Gmünd where the world was first introduced to air-cooled Porsches in the forms of the 1947 Porsche 360 Cisitalia GP followed by the 1948 Porsche 356/1 Roadster prototype and subsequently the 356/2 Coupe and Convertible. By selecting a lumber company started by Austrian immigrants, Luftgekühlt 5 recognizes and honors Porsche's air-cooled history and heritage.Don't forget, air-cooled parking may have sold out in just 15 hours, but general admission tickets are still available at http://luft5.eventbrite.com.

Chip, I took my Fiancé out last year (2 days after I proposed) we had a blast. We stayed in Marina Del Rey, went to Venice Beach, Santa Monica (pier area and more), downtown LA, a cool motorcycle show, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood, Malibu, drove the Pacific Coast Highway, and of course hit Luftgekühlt! We had a blast! It was our first time to California and it didn't disappoint - even with overcast weather for the whole time we were there haha. I say plan a little getaway, the show is a bonus and icing on the cake!
I'll be heading out with a few clients and friends. I'd love to meet up with some of you guys. It would be great to put faces to names!
See you out there.

Made flight plans for two this morning. Looking forward to this.

I am going and taking one of my favorite car-show buddies, who loves seeing "eyeballs" cars.

I flew in from Wisconsin last year and loved it. With 964 being honored this year I couldn't resist returning. Any other MidWesterner's attending? And how about my old friends on the East Coast, any Cars and Caffé'ers from Northern NJ joining?
And lastly the Petersen event - is it me or were tickets listed at $150 Monday!? They're still available but listed now at $299... (were my eyes playing tricks on me?)
