Recommendations for mechanic in Bay Area

Moved from Texas to Half Moon Bay. Need new shop to look after my 1991 964 Cab. Would be very grateful for any recent recommendations for folks (official Porsche or not) who know our cars.

Don Wise takes care of my 964 cab, highly recommended.

Finish Line Interiors took care of my soft top, same thing, quite happy with the experience.

Mark at Sportech in Campbell is an honest broker and very good with air/oil cooled cars. 2nd on Finish Line, Byron is a first rate fellow... no affiliation with either. While you're at Finish Line, stop in at Elephant Racing, just around the corner. Drive down 1 (a moderately attractive route) to Santa Cruz, then 17 to San Jose... stop off at Canepa's in Scotts Valley for a rare treat of some amazing Porsches. Wow... Texas to Half Moon Bay, culture shock O'plenty. Enjoy the new digs!

I personally use Tom Amon at Mobile Works West in San Martin. Tom is mobile so he can come out to you which is convenient. I have also heard good things about Modderman in Campbell and RMG in Sunnyvale.
