What's going on here.....

5 clean bolts (I did start with 6). Can't tell if it's leaking out under the boot, or from behind the bolt.

So I took the driveshaft off (again), and it does look like the grease is leaking out from behind the bolt head, i.e. where the bolt passes through the shaft. Never seen that before.

I'm going to use a bit of silicone to see if it stops the leak for now, just on that bolt as the rest are fine. Other than that I think it's a whole new driveshaft?

Assume you just serviced the CVs? You haven’t over packed the CV with grease?

No I'd not serviced them, I just noticed grease leaking from one, so I removed it to inspect, couldn't really see the source, so put new clips on, cleaned it an refitted it.

After about another 20 miles it became easier to see the source.

I've just put it back together now, so we'll try again!
