+1 more, on this being a GR thread ;-)
mine have not broken... yet (knock on wood),... but subscribing just in case. Oh snap, did I just jinx myself?!! (better not take it apart again).
Thanks for the pointer to this thread Sooner964.

Wow! Just downloaded the STL file. I'm going to stick it into my 3D printer and see how it looks. Let's think of some other parts that may benefit from this approach. Because of the broken piece, I ended up ditching the fogs for some RS ducts. I can't say I hate the RS ducts but would have been nice to salvage and reuse the fogs.

Not wishing to detract from the great work so far…but perhaps this could this be printed using a resin printer..? I’ve found the resin items have really fine finish and can be very strong depending on resin used. I might give the stl file a look later if that’s okay.
Great work so far though.

I looked into my adjuster, and I agree that it seems that the only way that the plastic adjuster would break is if the owner screws in/out the adjuster thinking that it was the mounting bolt for the lens.
Anyway, I'm working on the CAD drawing of the adjuster. Version 1 of the adjuster is attached as an STL file. I haven't printed it yet - getting some ABS filament today.

And if anyone breaks the other arm on the fog lights, I posted my design here. Free download.

I've found Matterhacker's NylonX to be the best filament for functional parts with beautiful finish. Have 2 years on radiator fan brackets I made for my Alfa, as well as a great many other functional parts.
