Crank case beyond repair or not?

He said he bought the engine (case) from a wreaked 911 - so that is why the case is cracked. I have seen numerous trans and engine cases cracked or broken from various wrecks.

That half of the case has a flange protruding bellow the other half. If you hit something from bellow that side will hit first.

I think it it must have been a significant impact from bellow.
