Default Anyone here install Koni FSD's?

My shocks and strut inserts are original to my '91 and I want to restore the original ride. I don't want stronger, performance shocks, just as close to OE without paying two times the cost. Pretty sure the OEM Boge shocks are NLA, unless from Porsche at 2.5 times the regular SRP.

I put them in my old E46 BMW Coupe and loved them for daily driving. Wasn't too stiff to annoy my girlfriend but handled really well when throwing it around corners. For a daily driver I would say go for it. I have Bilsteins in my 964 and love them too. Sure they are stiff but I don't drive it for the cushy comfortable ride but rather the speed and handling.

Why not go with Bilstein HD's (B6) with stock springs, the most common replacement. They are under $1000 for the set.

Have Koni FSD with european M030 springs, super, works well for both daily and autobahn driving.

We'll take an extended trip in the 964 at least once a year and it's only a fun/pleasure car, so want to stay away from HD shocks.

I have used Koni FSD units with Eibach Pro springs ride height at RS + 5mm. I can confirm the ride is quite compliant.
