Default Show me your shifters

I find the stock 964 shifter to be a bit ugly and uninspired. To me, it's the second most important tactile touchpoint, after the steering wheel (which has been addressed). I'd love to see your aftermarket shift lever/**** mods. If you post a pic, please also tell me what brand it is and how you like it (and how it differs from stock, if any).

TIA!

I always liked the oem shifter- but if I were to ever change it, it would have to be the Rothsport shifter, problem is I have a C4- so it is a no go!

Default CAE-In a class of its own.

CAE has changed the driving experience dramatically; brings the mechanical element of driving full circle. Zero. Slop.

The third most important touchpoint... get rid of that cheap plastic gas pedal! (see below)

Love the feeling of cold steel in my hand in the morning! Rothsport
Very nice direct mechanical feel.

Rothsport only fits a C2? Dang--I love the look of it, but I also have a C4.

Rennline for a C2 or a C4. I have an aluminium finish one. Photos are from Rennline website. May be a bit cold to the touch in fall/winter depending on your location!

911jetta.. you need to get the perforated Rennline floorboards. They look great.

I actually really like the wooden pedal floorboard. Super light and old fashion looking. That said, Rennline makes some great stuff.

Here is mine - 996 shift ****/boot. You have to mod it by removing the wide U-shaped wire at the bottom of the 996 boot and having the rectangle-shaped wire from your 964 boot sewn-in.

Really like the Rennsport. But if it's not C4-compatible, the Function First looks like a nice option.
