Thanks for that john, however I totally agree. I really would just like to buy a whole unit ready to paint and bolt on. Keep an ear out for me!

Will do. In the meantime, look to see what part of the electronics and harness you have. It’s a lot easier if you already have the spoiler controller.

Sounds good! I'll have a look on the weekend and check back with you.

Hi salty, no from design 911. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. Cost about $70nzd from memory.

There’s a price to pay! If they are of similar quality I’d like to swap my spare Guards red spoiler for that White one. It would save me painting mine white.

That's fine! Jim is just getting things sorted for me. Hope it works out.

Exchange rate, freight, duty and GST will add appreciably to your cost but there is no obvious local alternative.

Yes, no doubt it will cost a small fortune but really don't care. Where is the control module located? I'm thinking under the seat?

It’s under the right hand seat on a RHD 1990 model. I think it shifted in later models to under the dash.

Started building a mount for a battery cutoff switch as I only use the car once a month or so and the battery keeps going flat.

I plan on mounting it here on the chassis rail above the battery which is good as it will cover this scratch!

Done!
I'm happy now that I can get the car out for a drive at any time without having to steal a battery from one of my other cars!
However, with the battery disconnected I have found that the drivers side door lock doesn't work...
