I've been there done that. People said nothing when I put them on, but congratulated me when I took them off. Same with the ducktail. Go figure. The Fuchs are the only mod that seem to get reasonable thumbs up. But it's your car. You only have to please yourself.

I didn't actually notice you took them off! It was an impulse buy! But now im worried they wont be keeping with my plain and simple theme. I've read through your how to thread a few times but don't feel confident to put them on so I'll go see a signwriter or something tomorrow.

I recently added the Carrera side stripe and love it. Totally changes the look of the car. I get nothing but compliments since I did it. I say go for it. If you don't like it, easy enough to take them off.
