Default Do you think it is worth fixing this dme?

My car stopped 2 weeks ago so I replaced the dme as a precaution. Taking the old one apart today it looks like one of the solder joints has broken. Have people had success resoldering or best to just bin it?

I would bin it and get a solid state one that has a pump priming function. I have used one for years and they just work.

Seconded. Still have working old DME relays in the garage but the priming solid-state unit is fantastic.

Where do I get a solid state DME? Don't think I've seen one before but have a box of old ones on the bench..!

Mark,

My wife and son will be going back to Taiwan early July. Let me know if you want her to bring one back for you.

Cheers,
C
