So I've acquired some seats in poor condition, need some opinions on how I restore them. I can get new covers and cushions for about the same price as getting them recovered however I want. I'm thinking I'll spray them guards red with leather covers and possibly red tartan cushions... any advice or pics would be great!

I did a red and black houndstooth insert on my pole positions with black leather and red stitching. Its a lot of red, but I like it.I also have the original gray alcantara inserts in the event I ever feel like its too much red...
taking pictures of seats while installed is not easy. lol
I had matching rears made, but didn't glue them in. They have a velcro bottom to keep them planted on the RS carpets in the back when I've got them in the car.

That looks great Matt, that combo would look good in Dingo’s 964 too

Thanks guys! Matt those seats look awesome, especially the subtle red stitching! I'm still undecided what I'm going to do. Was hoping Udo would get on here! Going to see a mate tomorrow who has a trimming business so I'll see what he has to show me.

Just when I was coming to terms with keeping my interior stock. Dang you guys!
Dingo, looks like you mounted the seats as a test, how did they feel? Wait, I don't want to know... I like you're idea to paint the backs red, and looking forward to seeing Tartan samples.
Matt, spot on with your red Houndstooth, smart that the rear cushions are removable also. Seeing your interior makes me miss my old RS door cards, radio delete plate and black metal Rothsport shifter.
The temptation is coming back...

I just sat them in there to make sure they will fit before spending too much money on them, but I did sit in them on the garage floor and they feel awesome!
Yeah I think painting the shells red would brighten things up in there a bit.
Stay tuned I'll see what my interior guy comes up with!

went and seen my trimmer mate this morning, thinking houndstooth cushions. Just have to choose between white and red... I like the yellow but probably will look stupid in a red car!

No progress on the car, but mrs dingo and I bought our first house together a few months ago so all my time and money is going into that at the moment!
My first project is getting the garage set up..
Does anybody have any experience with marine type garage carpet? I'm really unsure what to do with the floor! Actually I have no idea what to do with the garage in general but I figure I'll start with the floor and work my way up haha

No carpet lovers here! Parts have finally arrived for sunroof and cv boots! Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to get stuck into it, dont think I've driven the car in 4 or 5 months!
