Guys,

I'm trying to figure out exactly what tires were put on a 1992 America Roadster and 1994 RS America when delivered new from Porsche.

I was told by my dealer that based on VIN my 1992 America Roadster (205/55ZR17 and 255/40ZR17) came with Yokohamas and my 1994 RS America (205/50ZR17 and 255/40ZR17) came with Michelins.

I have Technical Information manuals for each car that were delivered to dealers and while they list tire sizes, they don't list brand or type. I've even looked at old magazine articles and press photos to see what was on them but cannot tell.

If anyone bought one of these new or has an extremely low-mi car with original tires I would love to know!

My 1993 RS America was delivered on 11/16/93 (I ordered in August) sitting on Bridgestone Expedia SO1 in sizes 205/50R17 and 255/40R17. I think I took this Polaroid around delivery time (based on the leaves or this was early spring in 1994).
