Price Check - Cup 1 wheels

https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...1e18f12a5.jpeg
I have a set of Mille Miglia Cup 1 wheels, 17x7.5 + 17x9” with high offset for 964’s / 993’s / late 944’s / 968’s / 928’s.

They are in excellent condition, no rash or dings.

Tires included, almost new Continental summer tires in 205/50/17 and 255/40/17.

Painted bright green for that old school Carrera RS look.

Can anyone give me an idea what they are probably worth?

I'd be interested in these once you come up with a price. Are the barrels painted green also of just the faces? Let me know.

I’ve seen real oem 964 cups in 17x7/8’s go for 2- 3k.
Maybe like 1500 for the MM rep set?

I think between $600 and $1000.
Yours being green...I don't know, it means a repaint is due unless you find a TAKATA fan :)

Pasting my same response from Pelican. $1500 is more than brand new retail!
These are now sold under the Maxilite name. Available new for about $1100/set. Used, if they’ve been spun on a tire machine and checked for bends, would be 50-75% of that assuming no curb rash. If they haven’t been checked, I wouldn’t pay more than $100/wheel as at least one of a set is likely to need straightened. Refinishing curb rash wheels is $175/wheel where I live, which means that there’s no reason to buy a set of these that need work. Decent and cheap repro’s, but not worth a lot.

Given the color, I would anticipate discounting any of those estimates above. Add $200-300 if the tires are truly new and date codes are within ~3 years.

Thanks for the info Nick. I spoke with GoKart last night about the wheels and it's tough to get the numbers to make sense once you take into account shipping and wheel refinishing. Great info about Maxilite though, I didn't know they were still being produced and at a reasonable price too. Do you know if ordering through their website is the best place to buy from?

I haven’t bought them through maxilite, but I’ve gotten some from FVD, which is the same wheel. They’re a great cheap alternative to the factory wheels in my opinion. I’m waiting for someone to commission a wheel maker for a lightweight forged one-piece repro. There’s obviously a market!

Another Price Check - Cup 1's

I have a set of Cup 1's with SM markings and the following Porsche part numbers:

965.362.126.01
965.362.124.01

They are 17X7 and 17X8's with 52 and 55 offsets.

I'm just trying to get a ballpark of what a fair price is to sell them for.

One of the wheels has a decent scratch on the face but others are in very good (near perfect) shape.

All help and advice is appreciated.

Would it be worth refinishing the scratched onehttps://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...85e6680aed.jpg

prior to sale? Worth putting on bringatrailer.com?

As the man said, 2 to 3 thousand IMO....

These folks have the Maxilites for $1140/set:
17x7.5 $280: http://www.sierramadrecollection.com...er-p32666.html
17x9 $290: http://www.sierramadrecollection.com...er-p32667.html

Unless you pick those up from their store (L.A.), add $50+ per wheel, shipping.
Still, if you're payin' -- you're payin'.
