H&R Sport or Porsche M030 Springs
I've been reading a bunch of threads about the various upgrades we can make to our 964's but I was hoping someone could provide a comparison between the various spring options available.
I intend to use my car on the street but primarily on canyon roads so tight/fast steering will be a benefit. I don't want to give up too much comfort though as I will be taking some longer trips in it.
I have already purchased Bilstein B6 Shocks and Elephant Racing A Arm bushings. I also plan on having a proper alignment done when the new parts are installed.
QUESTIONS:
1. Does anyone know the ride hide for M030 vs the H&R Sports?
2. Any comparisons between the two springs?
3. Any other spring suggestions based upon how I intend to use the car?

I posed the same question to my mechanic who also races and is one of the top drivers at local DE’s and he suggested the same based upon how I drive my car.
The one thing he noted is that the M030 feels similar to what I have now but lower and I do think the stock springs are a bit soft initially until they load and then they feel good. I gather than the H&R Sports are stiffer initially which will help with some of the mushiness I feel.

I have the H&R springs w/Bilstien HD combination on my 91 and it is perfect. We have taken 4 hour trips and the set up is the right balance between comfort and sport.

Eric thanks for the feedback. My biggest worry was the long distances drives as I plan to take the Targa to Rennsport next year. I’m all in now with H&R, the box arrived this week and as soon as the shocks arrive everything goes in. Can’t wait to take it out To the canyons after the upgrade.
