Cup car front tow hook
I'm looking for a front tow hook solution on my C2 - I love the look of the old school red loop on the cup cars, but cant find anyone making them. Anybody have a lead on these? Fabspeed discontinued their product.

Fabspeed made one up until recently (no longer shown on their site). A couple of vendors like Vivid still have them listed. PM Fabspeed to see if they still offer it.

It's pretty much just a threaded u bolt that attaches to the front tub with a bracket. Your local hardware store will have them in a big range of sizes.
A quick Google search for "threaded u bolt" brings up lots of hits.
This is a post about Cup Tow Hook and ThomasC2 has provided measurements

Autosatlanta website says in stock for the Fabspeed front , I bought two from GT racing last year
they may still have them , a simple threaded U bolt with substantial nuts powder coated red
without a backing plate ...
( your reinforcement is up to you )

I made my own. It was easy to do. There is some info on how I did it in my build thread. I used a much larger piece of angle aluminum inside the tub as I was concerned the small part shown might pull through if needed to get the car out of a bad spot.
Hardened steel rod 3/8" dia used an old timing came gear to bend it around and threaded the ends. painted it red at first but black later with tow sticker pointing towards it. I can stand on it and have used it to pull the car around without issue so far.
