Has anyone installed Recaro CS seats in a 964?
I test fit my Recaro CS seats in the 964 and they don't seem to fit, they are too wide. Has anybody fit them in and if so what are the tricks? Pics?
I may have to go with some Recaro Pole Position seats instead. Thanks

I have them in my 993. They’re a bit of a tight fit, but I don’t recall there being any tricks...they should bolt right in. Only issue I have is that you can’t move the seat all the way back as the rake **** eventually runs into the curve of the carpet/padding.

These are actually in my C2 now. They are a tight fit. I removed the inside adjustment **** Cut the shaft down flush. (you can always get a replacement shaft if you want to put them back to original). I used Recaro sliders.

You might consider contacting Stable and verify which slider works best. It has been a long time since I installed these I had one of the first sets of CS's in the country.
If you are tall you don't want the recaro seat belt bracket which adds 3/8" or more which counts.
You want something like these although these don't work. You need the same thing but the bolt needs to be more recessed than these. Stable sells them they come in black but can't find them and don't have any pictures.

If you use these you will damage the inside carpet. The adjustment **** remaining on the outside will rub on the outside carpet. It messes with the seat belt a little but you can push the seat all the way back. Also you will need to pull the seat forward to adjust the incline. Although I usually don't need to adjust them.
Sorry I don't have any pictures of the install.
Also if you have black interior make sure you specify that you want the older 964 black which is more black/black vs the newer interiors which are more gray/black. I ended up having to dye my seats to match my interior.

I am 6' down from 6'1" and not small I recommend not using the recaro seat belt anchors and find the ones I tried to describe. I will try to post pictures of the anchors I have some on file someplace.

Here is a picture of the parts I used to anchor the seat belt and lower the seat.

I believe the holes are not spaced as on the car side (mount side) so how did you do? Drill in the anchor to install it between car anchor and slider?
