Default Wheel spacer size

First off thanks any advice.

I have a suspension off a Euro RS on my car, so obviously it's at RS ride height. Question is, there's no spacers on the car and to me the wheels are a bit to far inset. Does anyone have a similar setup that can recommend a spacer size. I was thinking something mild like 5 or 7mm would do the trick for a good look. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

My car was RS height with D90s. I used 5mm in front and 21mm in rear. Looked great no rubbing.

I changed wheels and have zero spacers in front while using the 5 mm in rear.

21mm are for sale.

I have 5 mm front and rear. I believe that if you go longer, you should change your studs.

I have 7" and 9" cup1 rims , RS height and 5mm spacer front and rear.

I read that for more than 5 mm you should change studs.

Changing studs is correct. On my 21mm spacers the spacers had studs pressed into them. Bolt spacer to car bolt wheels to spacers.

I have a friend with 93 964 and Cup 1 wheels. 15mm spacers and new studs front and rear.

Ok yea I have 7" and 9" 17" cup wheels and would like to just do 5mm type spacers without studs. So there's no problem with stud length on a 5mm spacer?

I had cup wheels and used 15mm spacers in the front and 13 in the rear, no rubbing issues. My car is also lowered to rs spec

No, you will not need to change studs and you will not have any problems with 5mm spacers F&R.

Same Suspension with MM cup1 Wheels. In the rear i have 15mm. Front was 5mm but with negative effects to the handling. I removed the front spacers therefore...
