Default best place to buy H4 lights?

Hi all!
Looking to get my lights upgraded on my 964 and wondering if anyone know where I could get the best price?
Seeing a kit for 719 on vertex-- which is better than the $1200 on Pelican-

Is there anywhere else that I may have missed?

Thanks in advance!!

Default Flat6

I have been contemplating these. Was hoping to see more feedback before pulling the trigger

Anyone have any experience with the kits from the Retrofit Source?
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/fl...eadlights.html

Not sure if those are the same ones as above.

Vertex is $1078 for the black primer vs $719 for the chrome? I remember when it was the other way around. Unless you want chrome you will need to pay an additional $103.9 on trim rings and hardware and have them painted if you don't like the chrome. Still cheaper than the black.

As am I, just wanted to see if regular H4s were that much cheaper, but they really aren't!

I also thought that too, they have a kit for 719 with everything you need it seems! Thinking I'm going to go for the Flat6 lights, makes much more sense!

H 4's with Bosch lenses. and relays.
you can vary the bulb wattage, if needed.
anything else is second rate, appearance-wise.

otoh ........ i can't believe how expensive this set up has become. jeez.

Interesting-- I do think the fluted lens keeps things looking as original as it can be...

Yes. Just requested a quote from them for the LED solution with fluted lens and primer only rings. They said 5-8 days for shipping. Will let you all know how it turns out.

Tired of the original candle lights.

A great source for lighting goodies. They've got a great rep and treated me great when I did a little project of my own.

Well- just put the order in with Flat6-- seems like it is worth the money to do the upgrade, especially given how expensive H4s are!

Will post pictures once installed-- wondering if anyone has a DIY on how to install relays? I've never done that before and pictures would be helpful in figuring it all out!

Thanks for all your help

I ordered the Bi-Xenon from Flat6 last week, should have them towards the end of this week.

I'll have time to install them the first week of October. Hopefully they'll turn out great. I'll update once I have a chance to use them some.

Great! Let me know how it goes, look forward to seeing the install!

For anyone that is wondering about the relays, I found this helpful thread with pictures
