Widebody 964 with 996-style nose

Wasn't there a post about this car (or one very similar to it)?

YIKES, VERY VERY UGLY....

WTF who in their right mind would destroy a great car like that. Someone needs to be shot. IMHO.:)

ThomasC2 11-26-2003 06:10 AM

Agree, looks really strange...and not even clear indicators!

Riccardo 11-26-2003 06:22 AM

Thats pretty horrid.

Still, could be worse, ever seen an 80s Zeemax 3.2 conversion? It uses 928 lights at the rear.

PGlueck 11-26-2003 08:50 AM

wackk...he should have left the front and put a 993 S body on the back...that might look awesome

Roygarth 11-26-2003 10:21 AM

If one must do this sort of thing surely 964 front with 993 rear is best mix?

JoeW 11-26-2003 12:09 PM

:roflmao: It looks wilted! A tossed salad with Porsche leaves. :roflmao:

Maybe if he moved the decimal a couple places to the left. J

I agree with Piers - 964 face and 993 bum would be best! This car is sad to look at!

A Frankencar definitely but is it uglier than a stock 996?

If I were stuck with the 996 nose, I'd take the C4 curves over the standard 996 slab sides.

joey bagadonuts 11-27-2003 10:27 AM

I'm with you, Mark. I don't necessarily see this as an improved 964 but rather, a sexier 996. It still seems a bit nose heavy but definitely an improvement, IMHO, over the vanilla 996 lines.

WFT was that....I guess there is no accounting for anothers taste.... one mans meat is CLEARLY another mans poison....
