I believe you have to contact Singer when you sell the car because they are involved in the process. In one of the interviews Rob states they know where the cars are at 24/7 just like McLaren does.

I really like Singer's but when I think about buying a million dollars worth of Porsche, I just don't think I would put all into one Singer.

Wouldn't it be easier to go with a billet block instead and let the original engine blocks to owners and collectors? It is more expensive of course..but if the price go up to 1 million...this is something that would 'justify' part of the price.

I have a question. Isn't the exhaust too close to the carbon fiber bodywork?

A nice video to start with!

If you look at the exhaust pipe it appears to be double walled providing some heat insulation. The double wall also possibly provides noise reduction as well as insulation. This would explain the loops up into the wheel wells, i.e., extra length for added noise reduction.

I've also been fortunate to see the new Singer that this incredible new motor is going to propel and it is stunning. As Leh stated, the design details are sublime.

Did a little bit of design work on this and got to hear for the first time the engine run today.

Sounds like no flat 6 engine I've ever heard before and I mean that it a good way.

Hard to describe the sound other than it has a very purposeful note to it

I think it just comes down to 'why pay the full amount if I can just pay Singer the full amount and get every single thing I want?'

Sure, there's a wait, but it makes total sense to me. I'd love to get someone else's for 60% of cost, but I don't think you'll ever see one publicly listed for less than a ton. Have to stumble into it. I do plan to try and commission my own within 5 years. Love everything they're doing!

I know of a couple of singers that sold for more than original build price

I am pretty dumb about these exhausts...
Why the vertical inverted "U" in the exhaust piping on either side?
Seems like added flow resistance, given angles, tortuosity, and distance.
Thanks

artistic licence, pretty sure the each exhaust will require a muffler section and I don't see any so I'd imagine this section of the exhaust will be changed

This engine sounds amazing initially reminded me of a revvy 6.1 ltr NA V12 McLaren F1 engine

What do you think about performance's exhaust wihth X - pipes? I've see a lot of thread about the superiority of h-pipes for Porsche flat six.

Good comparison - only I would add a GTR to the end... Stunning sounding engine!

That's it, that's the sound,

I should have made the GTR comparison, especially as many moons ago I worked on every GTR ever built
