Default 964 chassisnumber

people,

Ive a porsche 964 engine in my car. Its number 62M00555.

Im looking for the chassisnumber belongs to this. I need this info for a licinse plate.

The engine is mounted in an 911 sc.

Ive bought this as an project car, a few years ago. Now the car is finished and i need a licence plate. But its difficult.

Hopefully someone can help me.

You may try contacting PCNA. Otherwise you might have a hard time finding that info. Can you contact the person you purchased it from?

Have you looked at the bottom seam of the engine - If it hasn't been removed there should be a white plastic tag on the seam flange with the car Id number printed in red

I thought that was only the 89 and 94's? I don't think my 93 has it.

Anthony you are probably right. I went and checked 3 964 ( 90, 92, 92) and one 87 3.2 motors that I have. The only one that had the sticker was the 87. All four motors were from complete cars I bought so I am thinking for some reason they stopped putting them on.

Manu Thanks for your help Guy's. But is there a solution to handle this problem?

Is there maybe anyone at the forum who is familiair with this kind of problem?
