Quick Jack

I'm thinking of buying a "Quick Jack" https://www.quickjack.com/ to start working on my car. Does anyone have experience with using one on a 944? Curious if it will line up under the preferred lift points...

Thanks

Nice lift solution. I need something like that too.

I have been thinking about the same thing. Looks very nice.

Pegasus Auto Racing carries either that exact one or one very much like it.

The "buy" configuration lets you choose between an a/c powered pump or dc that will run off a portable battery boost box.

There is a video at their site showing a 911 being driven on and lifted,.

I am considering heavily to get one (I have a full auto lift in race shop) just to bring to the track.

Come off track, pull onto lift just to change/rotate tires between sessions.

With scales and leveling pads, would make setup tweaks at track way easier too.

I say go for it.

It looks really good, too bad it is not available in Europe. I would be all over it...

Edit: it looks like it is now available through UK and German site. Last time I looked at their site in 2016 they sold only on US market. Good news!

This looks perfect to replace the two-post lift in the garage I've just moved out of. Wow, even free delivery within Canada!

I'm leaning towards the BL-5000SLX for the 5000lb rating - would better for modern cars which generally exceed the BL-3000SLX's 3500lb rating.... but first, I'll have to verify the longer frame length will fit the 944.

Post the results when you have a chance. I'm also thinking about the 5000lb rated lift so I can lift up Benz and SUVs when needs be.

Might not be such a bad option... lol

Although I was getting myself jazzed for the QuickJack option, I will likely spend that money elsewhere and go with a combination of race ramps and jack stands to get my work done... :(

I have these works great on my lowered 951 with AIR lip.

Those are great. I was looking at wheel cribs just to do simple under engine work. If you have a small garage it takes a lot of time to plan anything. It usually sux though.

I have the highest wheel cribs from race ramps (12")

Even with a lowered car you can easily work under the car with a trolley.
